Ongoing linky parties: Motivation Monday and Fabulously Frugal Thursdays.

When I worked in fundraising, I went to a conference in Athens Georgia, plus one up in Boston. I traveled with people I worked with and we took the time to explore each city a little. This time I was traveling by myself to meet up with bloggers I’ve been getting to know locally and nationally.
I had a fabulous roommate who was a homebody like me, though fun to be around. I felt like I was tagging along sometimes, and that’s just the way it is with introverts. I got into my groove by Friday lunch and loved hearing Martha Stewart speak. I came away from BlogHer with a clear sense of who I am and what works for me which I’ll be sharing in another post.
My 1st brand event – Iconix. The swag (free stuff) was a bit overwhelming. Also attending: Kristie of Diva Dietician, Sherry of SuperExhausted, Jessica of Delaware County Moms, and Karen of In the Kitchen with KP
Listening to Gigi Lee Chang of Healthy Child Healthy World speak at the Stonyfield Reception Thursday night.
Listening to Martha Stewart speak at Friday’s lunch.
Bloganthropy Award Friday afternoon. My friend Lisa Lightner of A Day in Our Shoes was a finalist.
Visiting the Museum of Modern Art Friday night with Valerie of Inner Child Fun and Jessica of Delaware County Moms, followed by dinner at a local Irish pub.
