Outside my window…
Lightening sky. Looks like another beautiful day.

I am thinking…
of skipping the sports today and spending time in the garden.

I am thankful for…
the work we did in the vegetable garden yesterday. The last 4 beds are tilled and prepped for the waiting tomato plants.

I am pondering…
food and health.

Living a green/frugal lifestyle…
Since I’ve been sick for so long, I feel out of touch with our finances. Fortunately, we have so much on auto-pilot. However, I need to find out where we were with my husband’s car loan. I need to see how we’re doing with our budget categories since we’re almost halfway through the year.

From the kitchen…
Time to get cooking! We need snacks, we need grain-free dishes, we need food!

I am creating…
plans for this week only. I need to get back on track with the home keeping, gardening, and cooking.

I am going…
to mass, baseball, and soccer.

I am reading…
Tales From the Sustainable Underground after finishing Wheat Belly.

Living A Healthy Lifestyle…
I still have a sinus infection thought it’s getting better. I’ve been sick with different infections since the beginning of April. Hopefully this is the last infection for a long time.

I started running again yesterday, and I’ll be out again this morning doing a hill route. I’ve been working on 3.2 miles since the beginning of January and still haven’t reached my goal yet. I’m not giving up. I’m pushing myself to work harder and do more with my arm and leg weight routines. I’m also going to do 30 day shred at least twice a week.

The other part of the equation is staying active throughout my day. Exercise is great, but sitting constantly takes away many of the benefits of exercise. Fortunately, I’m already used to mixing my sitting/writing time with time in the garden and time doing chores.

I am hoping…
for a beautiful day with my family.

I am hearing…
Birds chirping.

Around the house…
Fortunately, I cleaned up the house the day after the party last weekend. Now I need to finish going through the kids clothes for the warmer weather. I also need to walk through the house and write up a list of projects, maintenance and decluttering, to work on.

Around the yard…
The weeds are a bit weedy, though I’ve made some progress getting the beds back in order. As I clean up the flower beds, I throw annual flower seeds in to fill in spots.

I’m also digging out large bunches of daylilies. We have a lot of the orange ones found by roadsides. Every few years I need to reduce their number. This is the year.

One of my favorite things…
75 degree weather.

A few plans for the rest of the week:
Kindergarten Lunch Duty, Kindergarten special event, baseball and teeball, Venturing, and Bloggy Boot Camp.

A picture for thought…
