Outside my window…
Darkness.

I am thinking…
of 2 weeks of preparation before Christmas.

I am thankful for…
a great day making cookies and candy. We also made some fun snowmen and snowflake ornaments, perfect “gift in an afternoon projects.”

I am pondering…
my 2012/2013 Annual Review.

Living a green/frugal lifestyle…
Clothes hanging in the basement is in full swing.

From the kitchen…
The baking has begun! We made Peppermint Bark, Gingersnaps, Sugar Cookies, and Snowballs yesterday.

I am creating…
plans for a fun Friday night with the kids! I’m taking them to Longwood Gardens to see the Christmas lights.

I am going…
to mass, for a run at a wildlife refuge, and a birthday party at a family fun center tonight.

I am reading…
Blogwise: How to Do More with Less

Living A Healthy Lifestyle…
I’m challenging myself to run 13 races in 2013. Now to schedule the races.

I am hoping…
for a fabulous week.

I am hearing…
Mad Men on TV.

Around the house…
Elmer the Elder Elf (our The Elf on the Shelf) has been visiting us. Nothing crazy, just some fun surprises.

Around the yard…
My husband has taken over the outside Christmas lights. It’s fun to watch him think of ways to use the lights.

One of my favorite things…
Peppermint Bark.

A few plans for the rest of the week:
Longwood Gardens, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, Venturing, and the school Christmas concert.

A picture for thought…
I just got schooled by the 7 year old about making snowmen. I didn't put the scarf in the right spot. #christmas
