This week’s prompt for Listable Life was….5 Issues in this Election That Matter to Me OR 5 Photos that Show MY personality. I decided to do 5 photos of past fall seasons just because I want to share Halloween costumes next week. And…I don’t have many photos of me, something I need to rectify because my kids need to know I existed. I had some fun with this week’s walk down memory lane. I forgot how long my daughter’s hair used to be or how much her face has changed over the years.
2011: Soccer
My daughter played soccer last fall with one of her classmates from school. She decided to take a break this fall, though I think she wants to play again in the spring.
2010: Halloween
I made this costume many years ago when my oldest son was two years old. I still remember making it for him. When I went through the costumes this fall, I put this one away for my grandchildren. I’m just not willing to pass along something I made.
2009: Linvilla Orchards
One of our favorite family trips is our fall visit to Linvilla Orchards for apples and pumpkins. My daughter loved playing in the toddler area at Linvilla. She’s wearing a skirt I made for her.
2008: Heinz Refuge
Another local favorite (in fact, I do my long runs here) is the John Heinz Wildlife Refuge. I’ve been taking my children there since my oldest was about 4 years old.
