Jogging Stroller

My Baby Jogger is one of the best baby shower gifts I ever received. My aunt, a fellow runner, gave it to me when I was pregnant, hugely pregnant, with my first child over 16 years ago. At the time, I had gained 35 lbs. with my first pregnancy, and thought it might be a little impossible to lose the weight. Lose the weight I did with the help of the stroller and lots of running.

When my next son came along 7 years later, I pulled out the jogging stroller after a 3 year break, and put it back to work. It carried the next 4 children while I walked and ran. We have taken the stroller everywhere. This fall, I’ll be using the stroller to take my 4 year old with me when I go to school to volunteer for lunch duty. I’m also planning on walking the kids home Thursday and Friday afternoons with the 4 year old riding in the jogging stroller.

I’ll be sad when it’s time to retire the jogging stroller.

I loved my jogging stroller! I didn’t want to get rid of it even after my kids were too big for it :)

We didn’t plan it. ;) I held onto a lot of stuff even though it looked like we might not ever have another one. I’m glad I did because I wasn’t ready to let go.

I’ve always wanted a jogging stroller. I’m way past the stroller stage now though
