If you need a visual aid to see how much sugar is in our food, Sugar Stacks is the place to go. However, they don’t discuss the different types of sugars and they make this point clear. The white sugar cubes are merely used as illustration, not to define the different types of sugar in the foods pictured. My favorite section is Carrots Stacks which shows how many carrots one would have to eat vs. say, a bottle of Coke. Puts it all in perspective.
Sugar Stacks also has a blog, Sugar Delirium, where they discuss the issues around sugar and illustrating the amount of sugar in foods.
So long processed foods and drinks! You’re not coming near my kiddoes! My food dollars are going for the Real Thing, literally!
